Brand

Born in Coalvale in the west of Xtalnia, Brand was separated from his family since he was a baby when the dark army invaded his hometown. After the dragon matriarch Valentra stopped the dark army, she found a human baby left on the battlefield. Sensing the great fire power inside the baby, Valentraz raised Brand as if he was her own child. When Brand was a teenager, the dragon tyrant Daetraz assaulted the Charring Peak, Valentra’s lair. The dragon matriarch fought the tyrant and Brand tried to join the battle. Seeing the opportunity, Daetraz turned to Brand, which Valentra used herself to protect him. Defeated, she was held captive in Daetraz’s lair. The last word of Velentra to Brand was “Seek the powerful Xtal and use its power to defeat Demon lord Lozardus who empowered Daetraz.” Now, Brand is on his first journey away from Charring Peak in search of Xtal.

Arden

Arden was the chief of the Emerald Leaf tribe inhabiting the Bloomhill Grove, east of Xtalnia. Arden is wise and fair, he ruled the tribe peacefully with the power of nature. Although away from civilization, the danger is still near. Gronko, the mighty centaur and leader of the Spike Hoof clan, kneeled to the demon lord and took orders to collect Xtal in Bloomhill Grove. The group of centaurs invaded Emerald Leaf village. Arden and his men fought bravely and drove away the centaurs. Afraid of being invaded again, Arden was on his journey for more powerful Xtals to protect his village. He assigned his son Tane to be a new chief and travelled out of the forest in hope of coming back with more Xtals before the centaur regrouped and assaulted the village again.

Eirwen

Eirwen was born in the wealthy family that lived in the town near Whispering Tundra, north of Xtalnia. Eirwen is the youngest of three brothers, Coldin and Nas. Smallest but smartest, Eirwen possesses the power of frost which makes him a little bit cunning. Afraid of their son using his power in the wrong way, Eirwen’s parents sent him to the Azure tower, the school of Azure league, the great wizard guild. Learned from the grand master Sagar, the leader of Azure league, Eirwen’s power grew stronger. One day, Sagar sensed the abnormal presence from Whispering Tundra. Ice maidens, the frost spirit inhabiting the area, were wailing endlessly. Sagar knew immediately that the dark force of the demon lord had corrupted those ice maidens. To turn them back to normal, higher power is needed. Noone was suited for this task more than his best student, Eirwen. For this reason, Eirwen began his journey away from the Azure tower for powerful Xtal.

Thea

Thea is a daughter of Lugus the Archbishop of Lorechester stronghold, south of Xtalnia. Grew as a priestess, Thea was a beloved of people. She learned the power of light and used it to take care of those in need. When the demon lord awoke, his power corrupted some people's minds including Kenrith, the king of Lorechester. He ordered his armies to collect Xtal in nearby lands ,as a result, the war had begun. The cities around Lorechester revolted against Kenrith. In only a few months, the Lorechester stronghold became a ruin. However, the mad king Kenrith still guarded the ruin with his corrupted mind soldiers. Left before the castle is destroyed, Thea wanted to restore her hometown. Lugus was missing but before he was gone, he told his daughter to destroy Lozardus with the power of Xtal can bring Kenrith back to normal so the journey of Thea has begun.

Zira

Born in the Blood moon guild, Zira was raised as a thief. She possesses the power of shadow and was one of the best hired hands. When the demon lord expanded his realm the Blood moon guild joined the dark army. Felt unright, Zira did not want her guild to be under influence of Lozardus so she challenged the guild leader. Unmatched in the battle, Zira lost but her agility helped her escape before punishment. Since then she wandered as a rogue but still wanted to rejoin her guild and help them out of the dark lord's control. She heard of the power of Xtal and tried to collect them to enhance her power and finish the dark lord for the good of her friends and her own.
