# Token

In the Xtalnia, there are three types of token : special crystal token and general token.

**XTAL**

Special crystal token a.k.a. "XTAL" is the most precious token in the realm of Xtalnia. It is hard to earn in-game and only occasionally given through special events. XTAL is needed for crafting a weapon. The value of XTAL is much more than RSC. It will be rarely distributed in the first edition of the game. Players can earn XTAL only from PVP seasonal reward which will specifically be given to the top finishers (not more than 1,000 players). Higher rank players will receive more XTAL than lower rank players respectively. In the future, XTAL can be awarded from more occasions such as guild war or world boss.\

dXTAL is an in-game currency that converts from XTAL. 1 XTAL can be converted to 10 dXTAL which users can use this feature on our website. dXTAL is used for crafting a weapon and purchasing premium items in the shop. **NOTE: dXTAL cannot be converted back to XTAL.**

**benefit of dXTAL**\
\- Easy to use : players can perform some on-chain features such as crafting in the game instead of on the website. Normally, when players want to mint NFT, they have to do it on the website. However, the dXTAL system helps players to do it more easily in the game.\
\- Reduce gas fee: Normally, if players want to mint NFT 10 times, they also have to pay gas fee 10 times. 1 for each crafting. The dXTAL system reduces that fee to only 1 time. Players only have to pay a gas fee to convert XTAL to dXTAL and then they can perform multiple craftings in the game. \
**NOTE: make sure you convert enough XTAL to dXTAL for multiple craftings.**\
\- Purchase premium item: you can buy premium items in the shop which RSC cannot buy them by using dXTAL. These premium items include premium pets, premium skins, and etc.

**RSC**

General token a.k.a. Rare Silver Coin or "RSC" in short. This type of token is earned through a play to earn system and it is the in-game currency. A player can exchange RSC to crypto currency or use it for in-game benefits. RSC can be earned daily from various ways including PVP and PVE.
